Job Summary:
The Zoo Veterinarian is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to a diverse range of animal species residing within the zoo. Key Responsibilities:

3. Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and maintain preventative medicine programs, including vaccination protocols, parasite control, and nutrition management.
4. Perform necropsies and post-mortem examinations to determine the cause of animal deaths and provide accurate record-keeping.
5. Maintain accurate medical records, including clinical observations, diagnostic findings, treatments, and surgical procedures.
6. Provide guidance and support to animal care staff on proper animal handling techniques, medication administration, and disease prevention.
7. Participate in the planning and execution of animal transfers, including health examinations and necessary quarantine procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
